All is well in the neighborhood

It's getting harder and harder to keep up with Deca's pups.

They're very mobile now, and it's hard to keep them together and under control even with the x-pen. All of them have learned how to move back and forth between the whelping box and their new front yard by walking up and down the new ramp they have. Two of them were able to climb out of the x-pen yesterday. That's great, but that's not good.

The pups can see much better now, and can recognize when new people and things are in their environment. Yesterday might have been the best day so far for me, as the pups RAN over to me as I approached the pen.

The puppy gruel continues to be a big hit...thankfully. Along with Deca's milk, they seem to be very happy. A good meal, then light's out.

Bottom line: all of them are very gregarious; all of them are very playful.

They're puppies!
