A Message from Teejay and John Henkel

A special thank you to EVERYONE that helped VA1 Teejay von Wilhendorf, SchH3, KKL1 make North American Sieger for 2007 under Herr Johann Mayer (SV).

Again, Teejay had the largest and most successful progeny group (19 dogs from 13 mothers, 1 Sieger and 1 Siegerin, many more top 10 placements).

Teejay is the first American-bred dog to ever to make USA and North American Sieger as well as the first 3 year old EVER to do the same.

The sire of Deca’s pups was once again declared the best German Shepherd dog in the United States.

Teejay was judged VA1 at the North American Sieger Show 2007, held October 12-14, 2007 at Purina Farms, Gray Summit, Missouri, USA

Meanwhile here in Silver Spring, Fur and Green are having their first crating experience.

Let's just say that it's going to take some getting use to!

The Blitz Report

The good news from Annapolis is that Blitz is settling in nicely into his new home. But what would you expect from the Blitzer!

Green and Fur

Did Green and Fur realize that Blitz had gone? I don't know, but they were definitely not themselves yesterday after he left. With zero appetite and no energy, I put them to bed early.

The good news is that they're 150 percent this morning, with their usual ravenous appetites. Right now, they're having a good time running around and playing with each other.

Blitz Farewell

Blitz left for his new home in Annapolis today. And while we tried not to make a big deal about it, it was a very sad occasion since Blitz was leaving two of his sisters behind. It was particularly touching, since Blitz seemed to have a special relationship with his sister “Fur.”
